Welcome to Selfany! These Terms of Service ("Terms") set forth the rules and guidelines that govern your use of Selfany’s platform, which includes our website (https://selfany.com), mobile apps, services, and related features (collectively, the "Platform").
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.
Payout Notice
Payouts for Drive and Send Love transactions require up to 10 additional days for settlement, as they undergo our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) review. Standard transaction fees still apply.
For new creators or businesses selling across borders, payouts may be delayed by up to 7 extra working days for initial verification. This may apply to your first few transactions.
Please note that payouts are not processed on weekends or public holidays.
2. Eligibility and Account Responsibilities 2.1 Eligibility Requirements
You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to use our services. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
2.2 Account Creation and MaintenanceTo access certain features of Selfany, you must create an account. You agree to:

Keep your login credentials secure

Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
You are solely responsible for all activity occurring under your account.
2.3 Account Suspension or TerminationWe reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we believe that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or compromised the security of the Platform.
2.4 Account KYC To Receive Payouts
To verify your identity and process your payouts, please upload all of the following documents:

Government-issued ID (e.g., passport, NIN, voter's card, driver’s license)

A selfie holding your ID for verification

Recent bank statement (must match the payout account)

Recent Proof of address (e.g., utility bill or lease agreement)

Business certificate and Memorandum of Association (if using a corporate bank account)

Links to at least two active social media pages (under "Socials")

Residency Permit (if applicable)
You may also be asked to provide evidence of what you sold /delivery to a customer, especially for high-value transactions.
Verification Timeline-
Documents can take up to 3 working days to verify.

Important-
Incomplete submissions — including missing social media links — may result in delays.

Do not submit a payout request until all required documents and information are provided.
3. Purchases and Financial Transactions 3.1 Paid Services
Some features on Selfany may require payment. When you make a purchase, you agree to pay the listed price, applicable taxes, and service charges.
3.2 Payment MethodsWe use third-party payment providers to process transactions securely. By providing your payment details, you authorize us to charge your method of payment.
3.3 Taxes and FeesYou are solely responsible for any taxes or fees arising from your use of Selfany services. This includes, but is not limited to, transaction fees on sales and bank transfer fees charged when withdrawing funds from your Selfany wallet.
3.4 Charge BackIf a customer requests a refund or a transaction is deemed eligible for a chargeback, the seller will be required to pay chargeback and administrative fee incurred by Selfany Limited within 2 days.
If a payout has already been made to the seller, the seller must refund the full amount received plus the charge back and administrative fee to cover the process.
This charge helps offset processing fees, third-party payment provider charges, and administrative costs incurred during the chargeback process.
Note: To reduce the risk of chargebacks, sellers are strongly advised to:

Know the identity of the customer making payments through Selfany

Provide timely and professional customer support
Where a payment is made in error to a Seller, the Seller is required to refund same within 24 hours.
4. Pre-order Product Policy
To maintain trust and ensure fair use of our platform, the following policies apply to all pre-order products:
4.1. Delayed Payouts for Pre-ordersPayouts for pre-order products may be delayed until after the stated delivery date has passed or the product is confirmed delivered. This helps protect buyers and reduce the risk of fraud or non-fulfillment.
4.2. Verification for New SellersNew sellers or first-time pre-order creators may undergo additional verification. In such cases, withdrawal requests related to pre-order sales may be temporarily held pending confirmation of delivery or other risk assessments.
4.3. Pre-order FlaggingAll pre-order products must be clearly marked as such during product creation, including an expected delivery or release date. This allows the platform to track timelines and manage payout holds appropriately.
4.4. Dispute HandlingIf a buyer reports a dispute related to a pre-order product—such as non-delivery or misrepresentation—payouts may be paused while the issue is investigated. Refunds may be issued based on available evidence, seller history, and resolution outcome.
4.5. Compliance EnforcementSellers found misusing the pre-order feature (e.g., repeated non-delivery, misleading product listings, or customer complaints) may be subject to account restrictions, delayed payouts, or suspension from the platform.
5. Subscription Services 5.1 Recurring BillingSubscriptions may auto-renew on a periodic basis. You authorize Selfany to charge your payment method for each renewal unless cancelled in advance.
5.2 Cancellation PolicyYou may cancel your subscription through your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
5.3 Subscription ModificationsWe reserve the right to modify pricing. You will be notified in advance, and continued use will constitute acceptance.
6. Content Ownership and Licensing 6.1 Your ContentYou retain ownership of the content you upload. By uploading, you grant Selfany a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use your content for operating and promoting the Platform.
6.2 Content GuidelinesYou must not post content that is:

Infringing on intellectual property

Defamatory, obscene, or harmful

Containing malicious software
-
Promoting illegal or hateful conduct
We may remove content that violates these guidelines.
7. User ConductYou agree not to:

Use Selfany for illegal purposes

Commit fraud or misrepresentation

Upload viruses or malicious code

Harass, impersonate, or abuse other users
Violations may result in account termination and legal action.
8. Affiliate and Referral Program 8.1 ParticipationUsers may join our affiliate program to earn rewards. Participants must comply with all affiliate rules and disclose promotional links appropriately.
8.2 PayoutsEarnings will be paid based on our affiliate terms. You are responsible for your local tax obligations.
8.3 TerminationWe may modify or discontinue the affiliate program at any time without prior notice.
9. Privacy and Data Protection 9.1 Data CollectionWe collect personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to our data practices.
9.2 Data SharingWe may share your data with trusted service providers to enhance your experience. They are bound by confidentiality obligations.
10. Community GuidelinesWe promote respectful and inclusive behavior. Users must:

Violations may result in suspension or termination.
11. Platform Availability and MaintenanceWe aim to keep our Platform operational but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance or unforeseen issues may result in temporary unavailability.
12. Disclaimers and Warranties11.1 Platform Availability and Access
Selfany provides the Platform and its associated services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors or viruses. While we strive for optimal performance, we cannot warrant that the Platform will meet your expectations or be continuously available without interruption.
12.2 No Guarantee of Performance
Selfany makes no guarantees regarding the success or performance of your content or any results that may arise from using the Platform. While we provide the tools for content creators to promote and sell their products, the success of your digital products or services is contingent on various factors, including marketing efforts, audience engagement, and external market conditions.
12.3 Third-Party Services and Integrations
The Platform may include links to or integrate with third-party services, websites, or tools. We do not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the accuracy, reliability, or legality of any third-party content or services. Your use of such third-party services is entirely at your own risk and subject to their respective terms and policies.
12.4 No Liability for User Interactions
Selfany is not responsible for any interactions or transactions between users, including communications, purchases, disputes, or any other form of engagement. We do not screen or endorse users and will not be liable for any actions, misconduct, or misunderstandings that arise as a result of user activity on the Platform.
12.5 Transactions and Fraud
While Selfany facilitates transactions between users, we are not liable for fraudulent, failed, or incomplete transactions that occur on the Platform. We take steps to maintain a secure environment, but cannot guarantee the success of all transactions. We reserve the right to report suspicious activity to relevant authorities as necessary. If you are assoicated to a fraud, you will be investigated, reported and all legal and other fees incurred will be incurred by you.
12.6 Fraud Warning
If you are found to be associated with any form of fraud, you will be investigated, reported to the relevant authorities and social platforms, and held fully responsible for all legal and administrative costs incurred as a result of the investigation.
12.7 Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Selfany disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, non-infringement, fitness for a particular purpose, and title. We do not warrant that the Platform, its services, content, or any features will be secure, accurate, reliable, or error-free.
12.8 Jurisdictional Limitations
Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability. If you are in a jurisdiction where these disclaimers and limitations do not apply, you may have additional rights, which are not affected by these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Selfany shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages during services or migrations support.
Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid to Selfany in the 12 months prior to the incident.
14. Changes to These TermsWe may update these Terms at any time. If changes are significant, we will notify you. Continued use of the Platform means you accept the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law and Dispute ResolutionThese Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, in accordance with the rules of the Nigerian Arbitration Association or the United Kingdom Laws.
16. General Provisions-
Entire Agreement: These Terms, including any linked policies, represent the entire agreement.

Severability: If any provision is deemed invalid, the rest remain enforceable.

Force Majeure: We are not liable for events beyond our control.
