Privacy Policy
Welcome to Selfany. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your data when you use our website, platform, and services.
1. Information We Collect
Personal Information: When you register, verify your identity (KYC), subscribe to updates, or use our services, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, address, government-issued ID, bank/payout details, and any other information you provide.
Transaction Information: Details of purchases, sales, payouts, refunds, and payment methods processed through our platform.
Non-Personal Information: Browser type, device type, operating system, and technical connection information, including your Internet Service Provider.
Technical and Usage Data: IP address, login timestamps, device identifiers, session activity, and platform usage logs, which we retain and may cross-reference across accounts for security and fraud-prevention purposes.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We use cookies to operate and improve the platform. You may disable cookies in your browser, though this may affect site functionality.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
Provide, operate, and improve our services and customer support.
Process orders, payments, and payouts.
Personalize and improve user experience.
Send service-related communications, including order updates and responses to inquiries.
Verify identity and comply with Know Your Customer (KYC) and anti-money-laundering obligations.
Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud. This includes monitoring account activity, IP addresses, device fingerprints, and behavioral patterns across accounts to identify fraudulent, duplicate, or linked accounts; suspending or restricting accounts, products, or payouts pending investigation; and retaining relevant data for as long as necessary to support an investigation or legal claim, even after account closure.
Comply with legal, regulatory, and law enforcement obligations.
3. How We Protect Your Information
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect personal information, transaction data, login credentials, and platform data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
4. Data Retention
We retain personal and transaction information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as required to meet legal, regulatory, tax, dispute-resolution, and fraud-prevention obligations, even where an account has been closed, banned, or deactivated.
5. Right to Investigate and Share Information
Where we reasonably suspect fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful activity on Selfany, we reserve the right to:
Investigate the account, including reviewing associated IP addresses, devices, KYC documents, transaction history, and any linked or related accounts;
Suspend, restrict, or terminate the account and withhold or reverse associated payouts pending investigation;
Disclose relevant information — including name, email, phone number, photo, social media handles, business details, and evidence of the suspected activity — to law enforcement, regulators, payment processors, banks, affected customers, and, where necessary to protect the public or other users, to the media;
Report suspected fraudulent activity to relevant authorities, regardless of whether we are able to reach the account holder.
This right applies regardless of whether the individual is reachable, and is exercised at our reasonable discretion based on the evidence available to us.
6. Third-Party Services
We may share information with third-party service providers who support our operations, including payment processors, identity verification providers, and hosting providers, solely for the purpose of delivering our services. We do not sell personal information to third parties.
